Why our Family loves Amazon Prime and how it has helped us save money.

We have been using Amazon Prime for the last two years. It has been the best $99 we spend every year. Amazon's website offers our family everything from dog food to car parts. The monthly cost of Amazon Prime is only $8.25. That is a definite win in my book. I can spend $8.25 in one trip to the local convenience store. For the $8.25 you spend in one month you are getting several services-

Free 2 day shipping on millions of items- This is the really big one for me and my family. I can order just about anything on Amazon and have it shipped to me in two days. With enough planning, i don't need to visit the grocery store hardly ever. Just the occasional stops to grab some milk and other perishables. I no longer shop at the grocery store for items like laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and toothpaste. I shop from the convenience of my home and usually end of getting a better price as well.

Prime Instant video- We watch a lot of movies and TV shows through Prime. We do not have Netflix because we have Amazon Prime. Netflix alone is $9 a month. So i'm saving my self $.75 on Amazon Prime and I get so much more than Netflix can offer.

Prime Photos- This is a new one that I have just started to utilize. They offer unlimited Photo Storage. I can store all my photos on Amazon Prime and not have to spend extra money a month for Drop Box or another company to store them.

Prime Music- This is also a service that we take advantage of quite frequently. We were Pandora fans but music was frequently interrupted with ads. Prime Music is always ad-free and they have huge selection of music.

The above mentioned services are the ones that my family and I use pretty much on a day to day basis. With just those four services it is saving my family an average of 23.99 plus all the shipping charges. Not to mention all the time it saves me from not having to go to the local Store. There is definitely something to be said for convenience. My time is worth a lot more than money.
